Jersey Virtual Soup Kitchen

We are proud to be sponsoring the Jersey Soup Kitchen for the fifth year. In light of the pandemic, the Soup Kitchen can't take place in the usual way so this year it is has gone virtual!

Participating restaurants have created special soups and we ask that you donate £3 to vote for your favourite recipe. You will then be entered into a prize draw. All proceeds will go to The Shelter Trust, supporting Jersey’s homeless community.

LGT Vestra Soup Market

On the 4th December 2019, we hosted our second Soup Market, this year in support of Centrepoint. As a firm, it is important for us to provide value to our four stakeholder groups: clients, staff, owners and society and this initiative brings together all four groups, with a focus on society through our partnership with Centrepoint. Centrepoint's focus on giving homeless young people a future particularly resonates with our firm's ethos, and through their engagement programmes they are working to create a brighter future for disadvantaged young people.

Thanks to our restaurant partners for their generous contributions and everyone who made it to the soup market, we were thrilled to raise £15,175 to support Centrepoint, and generate further awareness on youth homelessness. It was a fantastic day with a cooking demonstration from Ben Lebus, Founder of MOB Kitchen, and performances from local school choirs throughout the afternoon. LGT Vestra's Soup Market gives you the opportunity to buy a soup from distinguished restaurants, for a minimum donation of £5, in the name of charity spirit and festive cheer.
