On the 5th of December we held our first annual soup market in Paternoster Square, London. Our aim was to raise much needed funds and awareness for Streets of London, with all proceeds from the event going to the charity to help tackle homelessness through specialist support for people who are homeless in London.
Over 1,000 litres of soup was donated by some of London's best restaurants giving patrons the opportunity to purchase soup from some of the city's best restaurants, all in the spirit of charity. Carolling from local choirs added to the festive atmosphere throughout the day. The soup market raised £10,252 and will go towards helping Streets of London tackle homelessness in London, getting people who are currently homeless the help they need to get off the streets.
