At the Fuchsbriefe Private Banking Summit in Berlin, LGT received a "wholly commended" rating. For more than ten years, LGT has been receiving top ratings from independent external institutions.
Selecting the right provider from among the multitude of wealth managers and financial institutions is often not an easy task for private clients. The demands are high – after all, the issue at hand is the client’s own assets. The suitable wealth manager should therefore not only understand the client’s individual needs and provide tried-and-tested investment concepts, but should also offer long-term security and stability. The testing that has now been conducted for a number of years by independent reviewers can be helpful in the search for the right provider.
"Concentration of expertise and impressive continuity"
"If a wealth manager successfully caters to wealthy private individuals, families and entrepreneurs around the world, and even to distinguished artists, then there must be a convincing concentration of expertise behind it," was the verdict of the editorial team of the Elite Report in their recently published test journal "Die Elite der Vermögensverwalter 2015" ("The elite among wealth managers 2015"). "But not only the performance is impressive, the continuity is also remarkable. Both of these merit the ranking 'reliability,'" it goes on to say. "This accolade seems logical, seeing as both the advisory services as well as the globally-aligned investment expertise are client-oriented." Six experienced professional testers and 160 wealthy individuals posed as new clients and tested 132 institutions shortlisted from an initial 360. Following comprehensive analyses – 800 individual assessments were conducted – the expert jury identified 44 institutions that they categorized as "commended". LGT was one of these institutions, and was awarded the highest "summa cum laude" rating for the twelfth year in a row. The quality of advice in particular impressed the jury: "The promise 'Invest like the Prince' has long become the benchmark for quality. (...) The highly qualified advisors are easy to reach by telephone. If a meeting has been scheduled, then you can count on receiving a sophisticated investment analysis."
"Advisors, advisory services and investment recommendations extremely well-aligned"
LGT was also able to score points for its services and products with the renowned Fuchsbriefe: "LGT does a princely job of caring for its clients: advisors, advisory services and investment recommendations are extremely well-aligned, the focus on service is very high." Fuchsbriefe ranks LGT among the leading wealth managers in Europe and designated it as "wholly commended". LGT took an outstanding sixth-place ranking on the all-time best list of top wealth managers. Fuchsbriefe tested a total of 84 providers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg and conducted approximately 100 advisory discussions. 16 wealth managers – including LGT – were ranked as being "wholly commended". "For these 16, the client is king,” was the assessment. "They stand out with a first-rate structured advisory process, excellent service and the ability to fully understand the client’s situation. They also go that famous extra mile for the millionaire."
Confirmation and incentive
H.S.H. Prince Max von und zu Liechtenstein, CEO of LGT, is pleased about LGT‘s excellent ratings: "Particularly in an environment that places high demands on financial institutions and wealth managers, these consistently prestigious accolades are an especially great honor.
